Peace Song 2020 Finalist

For this competition, the theme of peace and non-violence may be interpreted broadly from inner personal peace, peace in the home and among families to peace between people of the world.

We received a record total of 162 songs this year and wish to congratulate all songwriters who sent their songs into us for this annual competition. You were all heard. Your songs mark a time in NZ history where our voices and stories have great relevance in our lives.

All finalist songs go on to be professionally recorded and mastered for the 2020 Peace Song album.

Sam’s song was titled PaNiC and was his reflection on Covid 19, written over a couple of days in lockdown.
